The Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Manager (consultancy) will support the expansion of philanthropic income from trusts, foundations, and other funding opportunities within the United States. Building on an ongoing prospect mapping exercise, the consultant will qualify potential donors, conduct targeted outreach and engagement, assess market interest, and help develop a strong pipeline of prospective funding partners for future cultivation. The assignment will also evaluate the usefulness of funding intelligence platforms through free trial subscriptions, providing recommendations to strengthen HelpAge’s donor prospecting and fundraising strategy in the US philanthropic market.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent prospect research, donor engagement, and pipeline management skills, supported by outstanding written and verbal communication abilities. Experience within international development or humanitarian organisations, established philanthropic networks, and knowledge of ageing, health systems, social protection, or humanitarian sectors will be an added advantage.
