MEAL Officer

HelpAge International is seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer to strengthen the quality, effectiveness, and accountability of our global programmes, advocacy initiatives, and organizational performance. In this role, you will lead and coordinate monitoring and evaluation frameworks, performance measurement, rapid needs assessments, evaluations, and organizational learning processes. Working closely with teams across the organization and our global network, you will ensure programmes are evidence-based, informed by the voices of older people, and contribute to continuous learning and improvement.

The ideal candidate should possess significant experience in MEAL within international development, humanitarian, or advocacy settings, strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, and a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Experience in evaluations, organizational reporting, accountability systems, capacity strengthening, and donor-funded programmes is highly desirable.
