The Country Manager at HelpAge International will oversee the development of partner-led projects, implementation, and operations of programmes in Kenya, aiming to ensure dignified, healthy, and secure lives for older people. They will drive the annual strategic plan, lead on fundraising, ensure closer oversight of financial management and compliance and timely implementation of the projects. The manager will lead the localization process and represent HelpAge Kenya in external meetings and forums.
The ideal candidate should possess a master’s degree in social sciences, Development, Management, or related field or equivalent, at least 5 years’ experience in program management in a national or an International NGO, demonstrable experience in strategic planning, programme development and management of complex and multi-stakeholder interventions. They should have experience of organisational change processes. Additionally, they should have knowledge and interest in ageing issues which will be an added advantage.
