The Age Inclusion Specialist at HelpAge International will support the national protection cluster in occupied Palestinian Territory (oPt), emphasizing collaboration, agility, and technical assistance within the cluster. The position will focus on promoting age and disability inclusion in humanitarian response efforts, particularly addressing the needs of older people, coordinating with local organizations, and engaging humanitarian actors.
The ideal candidate should possess field and programmatic experience in humanitarian work in conflict/peacebuilding environments in a variety of contexts, strong understanding of intersectional analysis and age and gender transformative actions, strong working knowledge of the humanitarian coordination system and humanitarian architecture and experience working with partners and other international stakeholders (UN, INGOs) and proficiency in Arabic and English.
