This edition highlights how we’re delivering vital psychosocial and practical support to older people affected by the war in Ukraine. It features:
- How our Community Safe Spaces are helping older people overcome loneliness and trauma through group and individual counselling.
 - Stories of resilience from individuals like Vira, Nadiia and Mykola, who despite displacement, injury or isolation are finding connection, confidence and hope through age-inclusive humanitarian aid.
 - Practical assistance in action: from hygiene kits and assistive devices to winter-sets and legal support, enabling older people to maintain dignity, mobility and belonging.
 - The empowerment of older people through ‘initiative groups’ and community-led activities, shifting them from passive recipients of aid to active agents in their recovery and social wellbeing.
