How does growing older affect a person’s income security in Asia? This question is becoming increasingly urgent in the context of rapid population ageing in the region, yet little has been done to answer it.

Our new report Work, family and social protection: Old age income security in Bangladesh, Nepal, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam aims to fill the gap. It mines survey data to paint a picture of the multiple sources of income older people have, and how they interact.
