HelpAge International is seeking an Africa Conference & Regional Platform Coordinator to lead the day-to-day coordination of the Africa Ageing Conference and support the Africa Coordination Mechanism, bringing together partners, networks, and stakeholders to turn commitments into action. In this exciting role, you will coordinate major regional events, manage multi-stakeholder partnerships, track progress and commitments, and ensure that evidence, learning, and advocacy priorities shape continental dialogue on ageing.
The ideal candidate should possess substantial experience coordinating complex regional, multi-country or multistakeholder programmes, networks, partnerships or convenings with demonstrated responsibility for translating plans and decisions into delivery. Demonstrable experience coordinating the planning and delivery of regional or
international conferences, major events, policy forums or multi-stakeholder initiatives and a strong project coordination skills, including work planning, action tracking, meeting coordination, stakeholder follow-up and risk or issue escalation.
