The Age Inclusion Specialist-Turkey at HelpAge International will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the inclusion of older people in humanitarian efforts, map, coordinate, actively engage local organisations specialized in age inclusion, promote the meaningful participation and involvement of older persons with and without disabilities including Older People Associations (OPAs) to make their voices heard.
The Ideal candidate should possess experience in humanitarian work, knowledge of intersectionality and age and gender issues, familiarity with humanitarian coordination systems, and expertise in protection and inclusion. Fluency in Turkish and English is essential, and Arabic proficiency is desirable. The position may involve travel within Turkey.
