Support older Syrian refugees
Two years after the conflict in Syria began, the number of Syrians fleeing the country each day is rising dramatically.
Over 1 million refugees have fled to Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, Egypt and Iraq. 3% of these refugees are older people and are particularly vulnerable.
Older people are less able to flee or keep up with more able-bodied people, unable to carry large loads, and are struggling to survive in overcrowded, unsanitary camps.
Those who have managed to reach the camps are now in desperate need of clean water, nutritious food, shelter and healthcare.
We are working with other agencies to ensure that vulnerable older refugees get the help they need. Please help us.
