Giving a voice to older HaitiansOn Sunday 25 July, HelpAge International Haiti launched the radio show "Koze Granmoun, Pawòl Timoun" (or "Older people's chatter, children's discussions"), on Radio Soleil (105.7 FM).

Through the show, we want the general public and humanitarian organisations to become familiar with the issues older people face.

Co-hosted by children and adults who receive older people as guests, "Koze Granmoun, Pawòl Timoun" addresses different topics concerning older people and looks to contradict certain stereotypes.

Each show lasts 30 minutes and deals with issues including advice on health (Viv pi byen), information on Haiti's different regions (Face cachée), olden day culture (Dantan prezan), as well as interviews with experts and celebrities.

"Koze Granmoun, Pawòl Timoun" is broadcast every Sunday afternoon at 4pm on Radio Soleil (105.7 FM) and repeated every Friday evening at 8:00pm. The show was recorded with the invaluable support of MINUSTAH FM studios.

We look forward to you all listening!
