AGE DEMANDS ACTION GLOBAL

On 1 October, International Day of Older Persons, older people in 57 countries will take part in our Age Demands Action (ADA) campaign. They will call on their decision makers to take action on important issues, such as healthcare and pensions.

Many ADA activists have also sent us their "C" for convention photos to show their support for a convention on the rights of older people.

A UN convention on the rights of older people would provide governments with a legal framework and support to pass laws to protect and promote older people's rights.

WHAT IS AGE DEMANDS ACTION?

Age Demands Action (ADA) is a global grassroots campaign led by older activists.

Throughout the year campaigners take action to fight age discrimination by lobbying their governments on the issues that affect them.
