HelpAge International Uganda Programme seeks qualified candidates for the position of Programme Coordinator. The post-holder will be responsible for strengthening HelpAge International Uganda's programme strategies, program quality, partnerships and accountability in accordance with organization's and donor policies. S/he will provide oversight on implementation of current projects; provide technical support in designing new programmes and writing of proposals. She/he will also play a key role in leadership and providing direction to the project team.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in development field, five years' experience in an INGO three of which should be in programme development and management, have experience in advocacy, representation, monitoring, learning and evaluation. Ability to document and disseminate good practices, good writing, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
