We are currently seeking a Programme Funding Officer to work in HelpAge International’s London-based funding team. You will support in all aspects of programme funding, including ensuring projects are well-designed, and funding proposals and reports submitted to donors are of the highest quality. You will also conduct donor research, provide technical guidance to staff and partners, and work with regional and country offices to develop and implement funding plans and strategies.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience
The ideal candidate will have experience of engaging with, and mobilising funds from, key donors such as DFID, the European Commission and other European bi-laterals, UN agencies, and/or major trusts and foundations. You will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to guide and support colleagues through the programme funding cycle. The right candidate will enjoy being part of a global team committed to continued growth in HelpAge’s income for the benefit of older people.
