Evaluation Consultant for ALERT project

HelpAge International's vision is a world where older people fulfil their potential to lead active, dignified, healthy and secure lives. We are the secretariat of the HelpAge global network, bringing together more than 114 affiliates and 200 partners working with older people in over 50 countries.

The ALERT consortium has designed technology for improving the way humanitarian agencies prepare for and respond to disasters. The ALERT software platform aims to ease the burden of emergency preparedness by providing an information management system for the entire preparedness process.

As the project is heading to an end, the ALERT consortium is looking for external experts to undertake the ALERT project’s final evaluation.

The ideal consultant(s) should have a substantial experience in conducting evaluations, in an international development/humanitarian environment. It is highly desirable that you are experienced in emergency response and/or preparedness

Interested consultants are invited to submit an expression of interest for delivery of the assignment. The short expression of interest should include:

- A short (one page) cover letter addressing the profile criteria above

- CV (maximum 3 pages) outlining your experience

- A plan outlining deadlines for key deliverables and a financial proposal (providing cost estimates for services rendered including daily consultancy fees).

- Three references

Expressions of interest are sought from applicants meeting the criteria above. These should be addressed to Tiphaine Valois and Saffi Jones at the following addresses: tiphaine.valois@helpage.org, saffi.jones@helpage.org no later than COB 15 December 2017.
