Older People's Associations

Older people are speaking out, we're listening.

Older People's Associations are having a tremendous impact on the quality of older people's lives across Asia.

For instance, the associations arrange grants to improve an older person's working life or  health visitors to check on them at home.

But the empowerment really starts when older people are trained to help themselves. They gain homecare and health awareness skills, which they can use in their communities, and learn how to join forces to claim their rights and entitlements.
