Izzat Mai, 60, Pakistan
Izzat Mai, is a 60-year-old widow who lives with her six sons in Muzzafargarh, Pakistan. She used to be a seamstress but her worsening eyesight means she can no longer work.
When the floods came in August, Izzat Mai and her family stayed on the roadside for 35 days waiting for the water level in their home to come down.

Their mud house had filled with four feet of water and was left so badly damaged that one of its walls collapsed.
Her sons rebuilt the walls from clay and mud to try and keep their family protected and safe.
My sons can't afford to pay for me
Nowadays, Izzat Mai gets up at dawn for prayers, helps in cleaning the house and then takes care of her grandchildren when her sons go to seek work and her daughters-in-law get busy with the household chores.
Her grandchildren are really attached to her and stay with her all the time.
Winter is fast approaching and she is taking medicine for cough and fever.
HelpAge has given her a winter kit containing a shawl, bag, bed sheet and a blanket.
It was great to get a kit on my doorstep
She says: "Because my sons have lost their jobs as labourers since the floods, they cannot afford to provide me with much, so I am happy to receive these items.
"I am pleased the winter kit was delivered to my home and not handed out in a distribution.
"The last time I went to get food items from a distribution, I could not compete with the young men and women who were able to queue for four hours.
"I came back home tired and had to stay in bed for a couple of days to regain my strength. So I'm glad to get a kit on my doorstep."
