Age demands action in Jamaica



• A delegation of older people will meet with Minister of Labour and Social Security, Mr Derrick Kellier and Minister of Health, Dr Fenton Fergusson to discuss the establishment of special health clinics for older people so that they can have easier access to health care services, expansion of the social safety net to include larger number of older persons, Universal old age pension and access to micro-credit for older persons.

 • The famous band the Jolly Boys have also agreed to do an ADA video for the campaign.

• Ageing in 21st Century will be launched with UNFPA and the Population Forum.
