Age demands action in Bangladesh

This year the International Day of Older Persons was observed all over Bangladesh for the very first time in 64 districts as well as nationally, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Welfare. District commissioners led the International Day of Older Persons at district levels with our partners joining them wherever they had activities.

Older ADA activists took part in a human chain and a seminar on ageing was held at the national level with the Honorable Minister, State Minister, and Secretary of the Ministry of Social Welfare and Director General of the Department of Social Services among the attendees.
