Each year on 1 October, the International Day of Older Persons, older people in around 60 countries take part in our Age Demands Action (ADA) campaign. They call on their decision makers to take action on important issues, such as healthcare and pensions.
Whether you're an older activist or a younger person campaigning for a better life in old age, the Global AgeWatch Index country report cards provide critical data for your advocacy.
We will be working for better data sets so that more countries can be included in the Index and we have a greater range of indicators to give a richer global picture.
If you'd like to be kept updated on the development of the Global AgeWatch Index, sign up for our eNewsletter and follow us on Facebook, Twitter and other social networks (see icons at the top right).
Is your organisation or business a thought leader on ageing? Do you care about our ageing world?
We're looking for partners that really care about ageing to drive forward the next phase of development of our Global AgeWatch Index.
We want to cover more countries, tell more stories, and inform decision-making to improve the lives of older people around the world and we need your help to do it.
Whether you want to pledge commercial sponsorship, analytical expertise, consultancy support, host web discussions or roundtable events - we will work with you to create a mutually beneficial partnership.
