Age Demands Action for Rights Storify: Older people campaign across the world
On 15 June, World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, ADA for Rights campaigners in 30 countries met key decision-makers, including Presidents and Ministers of Foreign Affairs. Their goal was to urge their governments to attend the UN Open-ended Working Group on Ageing, where a new convention on the rights of older people will be discussed.
