Description : I have worked for many years in Risk Reduction programmes, first with the Bolivian Government department for Civil Defence, and then with a number of national and international NGOs, including CARE. I have been the Manager for Risk Reduction Programmes of the Bolivian Foundation FUNDEPCO since 2006 and I have worked with HelpAge International to include older people in work on disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation since 2008. I currently manage a programme which involves a risk study of the relationship between older people’s livelihoods and climate change in the highlands of Bolivia.
