Fighting poverty and exclusion in Bolivia by speaking out in media HelpAge International helps older people make their voices heard in Bolivia, bringing the poverty and social exclusion they face to the attention of the media, government representatives and the general public.

Defending the rights of marginalised older people in Bolivia and Peru This project targets the most vulnerable older people in urban and rural communities in Peru and Bolivia, and aims to respond to their concerns about poverty and exclusion.

Active ageing: a network for exchange and action on ageing We have established an active ageing network in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia and Peru. The network has increased the impact of community strategies through the exchange of experiences, and the promotion of good practice on ageing issues.

Urban food production for older people in Quito, Ecuador This project in Ecuador supports older people and their families living in a poor neighbourhood on the outskirts of Quito, by providing them with new skills and techniques to help them adapt rural farming methods to their new urban environment.
