The East Africa crisis has affected thousands of communities in Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia. Around ten million people are facing the worst drought since the 1950s. We are working to help older people and their families affected by the famine. In Borana zone, we are providing cash transfers, food and livestock feed to households headed by older people. In the Dollo Ado refugee camps in Somali region, we are providing food, mosquito nets, water collection items and access to sanitation facilities and mobility aids, such as walking sticks.
