Young and old share their sewing skills ŠNeil Cooper/HelpAge International

HelpAge International's Caribbean regional development centre, now based in Kingston, Jamaica, began operating in 1982. It currently supports English and French speaking organisations in 10 countries.

The centre works with local partners to promote ageing issues in the region and to build the capacity of age-care organisations.

Key projects

Our programmes focus on putting ageing at the centre of development processes, supporting livelihoods and mitigating the effects of natural disasters.
