Delegates meet with Mr. Čaplovič, vice-chairman and Mrs. Tomanová, Minister of Labour and Social Affairs in Bratislava.
L'ubica Gálisová, our partner in Slovakia, is taking part in Age Demands Action for the first time this year.
The Age Demands Action campaign in Slovakia will celebrate older people's contribution to society in Slovakia. It will also encourage the government to include older people in the decision-making process.
The delegation will ask the government to recognise the need to raise the pension rate in preparation for the country's move to join the Euro in January 2009.
They will also send letters and leaflets to MPs, highlighting the fact that Slovakia currently has the lowest pension rate in Europe.
