Cordaid and World Granny will be taking part in the Age Demands Action campaign for the first time this year.
What's planned for 2008?
Cordaid and World Granny are lobbying their government to influence how international development funds are spent.
They will hand a petition to Mr Bert Koenders, the Minister of Development Cooperation, demanding more policies focusing on social pensions in developing countries.
Cordaid and WorldGranny are also planning to celebrate the International Day of Older People at a theme park. They will gather together 200 members of older people's organisations for a fun day out.
