Despite the difficulties drought brings, our photogallery shows how older people are working in their communities to adapt to the new climate, while also building livelihoods and opportunities.
Older people also offer vital childcare services to their families. They look after their grandchildren when pastoralist parents have to travel further and further to find pasture and water.
