HelpAge International strives to be an equal opportunities employer. Our recruitment process aims to select the most suitable person for the post, in relation to experience, knowledge, skills and relevant qualifications.
It is against our policy to discriminate either directly or indirectly on grounds of gender, race, disability, age, nationality, ethnic/national origin, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, marital status, pregnancy, trade union affiliation or any other unlawful criteria.
Because of our focus on ageing, we encouraged non-ageist employment practices long before age discrimination became an issue on the UK legislative agenda. We welcome applications from adults of all ages. Our retirement age in the UK is flexible, between 60 and 65. However, staff are not obliged to retire at 65.
All job descriptions for current vacancies are available on our website or can be sent on request. The person specification sets out our shortlisting and selection criteria. Applicants are asked to provide information that is relevant and non-discriminatory.
For monitoring purposes, applicants are requested to complete a monitoring form which will be dealt with confidentially by the human resources team.
For each post, we will consider applicants with special needs, as suitable.
All of our vacancies are posted in this section. Please check regularly to see if there is a position that you would like to apply for.
