Our global network, established in 1983, means we can share best practice on ageing and development issues worldwide, and gather evidence from around the world to support advocacy work at local, national and international levels.
HelpAge currently has a global alliance of 80 affiliates.
Affiliates benefit from making links with each other, having contact with a HelpAge regional centre, and receiving regular information and publications.
Affiliate organisations play a key role in governing HelpAge International, with representatives holding at least six of the 15 seats on the board of trustees.
Affiliation is open to any established and legally registered organisation working at international, regional, national or local level on issues of individual or population ageing.
Organisations should be able to demonstrate capacity in research, advocacy, capacity-building or programming with, and for, older people.
If your organisation is interested in applying to be an affiliate, please contact the regional centre for your region, or the London office if you are based elsewhere.
